Who controls your data?

What do we process and why?

Contact form

When you send a message through the form, we process your name, email address and the text of the message, and whatever else you give voluntarily, such as your phone number.

• Purpose: answering your message.
• Legal basis: your consent, and steps taken before entering into a contract when you ask for a quote (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)).
• Retention: up to 30 days.

Email

If you write to us by email, we keep the message and the sender address to reply and to document the matter, for up to 30 days.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps a technical log (IP address, time, requested page). It uses this to run the site and to prevent abuse.

What this site does not do

• It uses no cookies.
• It uses no analytics or tracking service.
• It calls no third party when a page loads, and fonts are served from our own server.

For this reason there is no cookie consent banner.

Who receives the data?

• Form service: Web3Forms. It forwards the message of the form to our email address. The data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
• Robot protection: hCaptcha. It loads only when you start filling in the form.
• Hosting provider: HostGator.com, LLC, Houston, USA.

We do not pass the data on for any other purpose and we do not sell it.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, you can object to processing, and you can request data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@viamap.hu, and we will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, www.naih.hu. You can also go to court.
